Heaven Lodge offers a range of affordable accommodation to suit most budgets.
Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this remote and unspoilt area of Zimbabwe.
About Us
Established in the 90’s Heaven Lodge had a somewhat notorious reputation among local Chimanimani residents. But among backpackers and campers it was legendary for the good vibe, laid back atmosphere and endless parties!
Times have changed and the lodge is a somewhat more sedate establishment these days, still catering for the budget conscious tourist and an ideal central location in the village for NGO’s and other people in the area to work.
Most visitors will find the atmosphere is still relaxed, no doubt the crystal mountains exert their calming influence on all who pass this way.

Chimanimani
One of Zimbabwe’s least-known national parks, Chimanimani is situated in the Eastern Highlands where the imposing quartzite mountain form a natural border with Mozambique.
Well known landmarks such as Bridal Veil Falls and Tessa’s Pool offer beautiful locations for bird watching, picnicking, swimming and relaxing. Should you ascend the mountain, some will find it a tough hike, an extraordinary world awaits. Arriving at the Bundi plain you are greeted by a broad plateau from which numerous paths diverge and lead to distant climbs, mountain passes, rivers and caves. You can make your base at the Hut, which is more spacious than the name suggests, and then explore this area at your leisure. Whether your interests are birding, flora or mountaineering you’ll find these mountains have something for you.
Chimanimani was recently designated the second Biosphere Reserve in Zimbabwe. For more information about Chimanimani village, the mountain and nearby areas visit Chimanimani.com.
